What can I say about it? Well while doodling and drawing during a beer session with friends and watching some cartoons including the disney cartoons, I draw a litte Mickey. I know it’s not much (I am not a professional illustrator) but it keeps my system going. My friends (who are professional illustrators) drew some mickeys as well. As we looked at our drawings I notice the complete different styles. While scanning my Mickey, I was thinking everybody has drawn a Mickey once in his life and if not let this be your first time. That’s how I started everybodyneeds2drawmickeyonce back in 2004.
I hope this website will inspire you to draw your own mickey or have a break from your daily stuff and who knows maybe we can have Wallpapers, t shirts or screensavers in the future. It might help you to learn how to draw mickey. See it as a free online art education by fellow artists.
All you need is some Adobe illustrator, Freehand or Coreldraw and export it as a .jpg file. Some of you might have a drawing tablet (you know the Wacom’s) while others like to use a pen and piece of paper. It doesn’t matter if you are a amateur illustrator or professional illustrator just draw, design your mickey and submit. You will be part of our mickey illustration showcase.
Whatever you use don’t forget to have fun.
